Is the ExcelForum forum defunct?

That's funny. When I ping it, it comes back as 104.21.5.216.

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
I'm not sure about everyone else, but I still am getting the gateway error.:(

Me too. I have heard no updates from the tech folks, no idea what is going on behind the curtain. This seems to be a complicated network problem, not a simple server outage, since the outage depends on where you are coming from. I am getting through successfully using a VPN that routes me through servers on the West Coast or the the Netherlands. But my home ISP in Virginia can't get through. Oddly, I can ping it just fine.

20:30 hrs MST no problems here in Canada.

I am going to guess this is U.S. East Coast problem. I cannot connect from Virginia, and could not connect using a VPN in New York. Rick shows New Jersey as his location. But when I connect from servers on the West Coast it works fine. jolivanes is on Mountain Time so that fairly far west. Scott Huish is in Oregon.

Maybe to give more bandwidth for "The Debate"

I have subscribed to a VPN that allows me to choose servers by location. Here is my analysis so far. It appears that the outage affects the mid-Atlantic and northeastern North America. This suggests that it may be refusing connections that come though a particular backbone. I'm not a network guy so I'm not sure how that could be explained.
