Hello,

Is there any way to adapt my code below to not use Internet Explorer to grab all the data in the tables as below please?

Maybe using "msxml2.xmlhttp"

Many thanks.

Code:
Sub Form()

Dim objIE As InternetExplorer
Dim ele As Object
Dim y As Integer
Dim DLine As Range

    For Each DLine In Sheets("Sheet1").Range("B1:B1")
    Set objIE = CreateObject("InternetExplorer.Application")
    With objIE
    .Navigate DLine.Value
    .Visible = True
    Do While objIE.ReadyState <> READYSTATE_COMPLETE
    DoEvents
    Loop
    Application.Wait Now + TimeValue("00:00:02")
    End With

    For Each ele In objIE.Document.getElementById("sortableTable").getElementsByTagName("tr")
        Debug.Print ele.textContent

        row = Cells(Rows.Count, "A").End(xlUp).row
        row = IIf(row = 1 And IsEmpty(Cells(1, 1)), 1, row + 1)
        Sheets("Dog Form").Cells(row, 1) = ele.Children(0).textContent
        row = row + 1

        row = Cells(Rows.Count, "A").End(xlUp).row
        row = IIf(row = 1 And IsEmpty(Cells(1, 2)), 1, row)
        Sheets("Dog Form").Cells(row, 2) = ele.Children(1).textContent
        row = row + 1

        row = row + 1

        row = Cells(Rows.Count, "A").End(xlUp).row
        row = IIf(row = 1 And IsEmpty(Cells(1, 11)), 1, row)
        Sheets("Dog Form").Cells(row, 11) = ele.Children(10).textContent
        row = row + 1

        row = Cells(Rows.Count, "A").End(xlUp).row
        row = IIf(row = 1 And IsEmpty(Cells(1, 12)), 1, row)
        Sheets("Dog Form").Cells(row, 12) = ele.Children(11).textContent
        row = row + 1

        row = Cells(Rows.Count, "A").End(xlUp).row
        row = IIf(row = 1 And IsEmpty(Cells(1, 13)), 1, row)
        Sheets("Dog Form").Cells(row, 13) = ele.Children(12).textContent
        row = row + 1

        row = Cells(Rows.Count, "A").End(xlUp).row
        row = IIf(row = 1 And IsEmpty(Cells(1, 14)), 1, row)
        Sheets("Dog Form").Cells(row, 14) = ele.Children(13).textContent
        row = row + 1

        row = Cells(Rows.Count, "A").End(xlUp).row
        row = IIf(row = 1 And IsEmpty(Cells(1, 15)), 1, row)
        Sheets("Dog Form").Cells(row, 15) = ele.Children(14).textContent
        row = row + 1

        row = Cells(Rows.Count, "A").End(xlUp).row
        row = IIf(row = 1 And IsEmpty(Cells(1, 16)), 1, row)
        Sheets("Dog Form").Cells(row, 16) = ele.Children(15).textContent
        row = row + 1

    Next
      objIE.Quit
    Set objIE = Nothing

    Next DLine

End Sub

So when I put a breakpoint in and hover over doglinks on the line I just posted it says: <type mismatch>

So clearly its not recognising the URLs in the I2.

Excel Facts

Waterfall charts in Excel?
Office 365 customers have access to Waterfall charts since late 2016. They were added to Excel 2019.
The last line in getDogForm is wrong, you haven't changed it when you've renamed the sub

You should always use Option Explicit, this would have thrown an error then and you wouldn't be chasing your tail - pun intended ;)

Kyle;

The URL given by the OP and the one you used in your code are different. Did you find it from somewhere in the source of the HTML page?

I have one final stumbling block.

Occassionally when grabbing data the result of this piece of code:

Code:
    ret(x, 7) = form("rOutcomeDesc")

Sometimes has a "'=" as its results.....hence "=1st"

Excel returns a run time error 1004 on this for obvious reasons I guess. Any idea how to prevent this?

Many thanks.
