Hello.

I have simple conditional formatting rule in selection range "highlight numbers from -3 to 10" (see screenshot 1)
Now if i select all data and sort by column Q (small to large) Background color dont follow the numbers... (see screenshot 2)

Hope you can read from screenshots what i want to achieve. All i want is background color to follow numbers when i sort.

Is this possible to do?

Excel Facts

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
As you have seen already, sorting of the data does not affect the appliesTo range of the CF rules.
If you want this to work you need to have a column where you mark the rows on which CF will be shown. Then you apply a bit different CF to all data.
