Hi,
I would like to have user overwrite formula in c8:f8, if there selection is not found in a drop down box located in a8:a37. After they overwrite the formula i would like the sheet to be reset, with the original formulas put back in. Any way to do this??
the formulas in column c, d, e, f, are all different

for example;
c8 formula is if(a8="","",vlookup(a8,all_species,12,false) and changes as you go down the column.

d8-f8 have a similar formula but look at a diiferent column to pull data from.

So, if a user doesn't see their species on my populated list they could add their own data, and when they are done, put it back to the original..

Hope i explained this ok..

thanks for any help
