Hi everyone!
I am using Excel 2010.
I just created several UDF. One of them (named fc3), however, is not working properly.
Basically it has 18 arguments. When I go to Excel spreadsheet I do the following:
Formulas > Insert function > then select User Defined > select the function.

Then it opens a window where you just input the different arguments. In the case of this problematic function fc3, there appears only one slot for arguments, and it has no name. Anyone has any idea of what could be happening??

Many thanks in advance!

Wildcard in VLOOKUP
Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
yep, i found the same article, but it delivers error...

Named argument not found.
I can put a description on the function, change the category, but the ArgumentDescriptions:= line gets error....

I'm curious what kind of value does Payment_Customization return. String, number,...?

Also, could changing the loan_number alter the result of the function?

It seems that lots of these arguments are not independent.
If that is the case use their dependency could reduce the number of arguments. (e.g. look up the loan_number to find the loan_amount)

oh, sorry, actually I just realised. in my office i have Excel 2007, not 2010. I was thinking of my personal laptop when I wrote 2010...

That's why the ArgumentDescriptions argument of MacroOptions is not available (it was introduced in 2010 version...)

To the other question... yes, there are some arguments that are dependant of each other (notably, date_cashflow and period_cashflow, for instance). It could be fixed, but I was trying to avoid that doing that...
