Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
How is the cell highlighted? Manually? Conditional Formatting?

And what is the condition ? What happens if there are no values on one of the sides ?

So it would be extremely rare to have no value on one of the sides but i guess not impossible. I uploaded the condition.
