Select Cell (relative) when a CheckBox is checked

I have 700 check boxes in column F and have 2 macros already assigned to the check boxes. Now, I need excel to pull the UserName from the "Environs", convert it to the User's Initials, and post that in Column I in the same row as the check box. Is that possible?
