Remove special characters and numbers

I want to remove any numbers (0 to 9) and special texts like * # - ; X from below data

why you wrote
"doesn't seem like this is what U want either..."
The code removed the "X" from TX which I believe stands for Texas which U may want to keep. Thanks for posting your outcome. Be safe. Dave

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.

Ohh That I didn't think
but any ways I wanted to extract only names so no need to keep TX or any other state like CA
