Hi, I will try to explain briefly and concisely where I need help for:
I have an overview of companies and fees that are expected to be achieved on a certain date.
I want to transfer this data neatly into a new tab that clearly shows which fee is expected for which month. How can I make the correct reference of amount and date with the respective company.

marked them by color to help me explain.
So when I fill in the yellow cel in sheet 1, I want it to appear on sheet 2 in the corresponding month of the final transaction date automatically (sheet 1) So that in the future I dont have to copy/paste everything but it just keeps on going whenever I fill in a new Succesfee x chance% and dates.

Is this even possible? If so, help me you legends :D

Excel Facts

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
Is the expectation for Sheet2 that the Jan-23 Expected cell has $ 1.200. (sorry, I'm just using the $ symbol as place holder for your currency symbol). If not, please post some expectations?

Yes, that's the expectation. So its meant that if I add a new company on the list and say that its expected date is April-2023 and i fill in a fee of 1.500,- that the 1.500,- automatically appears on the corresponding month in sheet 2 in the expected cell

My company works with like a client a month with a work load of 6 to 12 months, so we want an overview with expected succesfee's on the expected date and at the same time an overview of the real succesfee and real date they cashed it. And if possible that the sheet works automatically. You fill in a expected date and fee and sheet 2 gives you the view of expected and realized.

so, how do you go from a date in one table into a date in another table with a consistent formula?

I dont know, thats the question actually. I wonder if its possible to let the succes fee on a expected date be filled in into sheet 2.
So when I fill in a date into sheet 1 that sheet 2 knows which date to put in the succesfee. I hope that my explanation is good enough haha.

will success fees always be unique for each company in table 2?
(dates may be duplicated too, but I think they have the chance of being more unique).

Let me ask another way. Assuming you have multiple records for the same customer (not the same transaction) in table 2, when you start to put them in table 1... what is it that is different about them? Do you have an invoice ID, purchase order number, etc?

(Not native English so I'll do my best) I work for a small M&A company. So say we get a unique client a month, with a unique succes fee once where we expect that the company of the client will be sold within X months.
Sheet 1 is okay to fill in by hand, but I would like to have some sort of time table of what we expect and what was really received on a date on sheet 2.

Well, your second language English is great compared to my second language spanish. So, I appreciate that!

Can you create a unique ID for each transaction you are working on? Maybe a short name of the company and a datestamp?
for instance company Any Buggy Company, Inc. starts a transaction on March 31, 2023. The Unique ID could be
ABC2023090 or something like that.

Data Note: However, this does mean that if you ever have lots of transactions with that company, for matching purposes you need to always and only use ABC as the prefix for that company's transactions.
