I was looking for a recommendation on how to teach myself to create macros. Any suggestions on reference materials?

Thanks

xflyer1996 & FDibbins, I'd suggest you take the plunge with a formal VBA training course. There's a really good one available here: https://members.excelcampus.com/a/1523/fdzAdugs

Jon Acampora is a great teacher and he starts by giving you access to 3 free videos, after which he will market his VBA Pro Course to you. I've taken a look at the VBA Pro material and it covers a really wide range of functionality. It's good value for money and the prospects that VBA gives you in terms of advancing your career fully justify the cash outlay required.

Unfortunately, like with anything, learning VBA will take time and effort, and is easier done if you're willing to spend some money doing it. A formal course will always give you better value that trying to put bits and pieces together.

How to calculate loan payments in Excel?
Use the PMT function: =PMT(5%/12,60,-25000) is for a $25,000 loan, 5% annual interest, 60 month loan.
Thanks for the tip and link. I agree that there needs to be dedication and effort, but I have tried a few online training vids, maybe there was too much distraction at home (cant do it at work)

I have been looking around locally for a walking/live class to go to, I learn better that way, but Im in a small town and there is not much available :(
