Hi

I have an external data source in excel which I need a pivot table on, the data is growing and Im looking for a way of automatically changing (Expanding) the data source.

The data comes from a web query and I am able to get the link from a right click on the data, but I cannot use this link as an external data source for the pivot table so it would appear I need a makro - I can find these to refresh data but not to expand the data selection.

Thanks

The link (Web address) opens within the cloud based finance package but just shows an error page - think this may be a no go but I do appreciate the help

Excel Facts

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
The link opens up our cloud based finance package and just results in an error message. The excel file's extension is .igy if that helps - I do appreciate your help but don't think this is going to go anywhere :(

you are not very descriptive with your answers so it's hard to say anything. I don't tolerate vba in any form so I can't help. Maybe someone else...
