I prefer to think of it as mining the depths of American culture. [sniffs haughtily] I actually debated between "gee willikers" and "yumpin' yeehosiphats". I selected the former because I believed it yielded more of a "Leave It to Beaver" feel. And while the latter better expresses shock, it seemed a bit too Yosemite Sam. (Well, that and I love to keep Erik looking through his dictionary. :wink
