In Book1 I have values in:
A1
A2
A3
A4
In Book2 I want to get data from that cells in next:
A1 B1 C1 D1

Can I solve this by using one name only (with relative reference... combining with offset or anythin...)?

I am finding some of your replies very confusing. I can't tell if you are saying things worked or didn't work.

I've noticed.
For you, I should probably write: I've tried INDEX BEFORE but didn't worked well seems... name of function didn't promise anything usable" and please accept my apologies.

For Andrew Poulsom I should write probably nothing (except "Thanks."). He perfectly well knew(!) that this
Code:
=INDEX(Sheet1!$A:$A,COLUMNS($A1:A1))
is the right and the best solution for my problem or my question.

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
So, if you question was answered to your satisfaction, what was the purpose of your last post?

Matters of a separate thread should be kept to that thread. You can "bump" that thread (by replying to it yourself) if it has not been resolved or gotten any recent responses.
