I have a strange issue going on. The "X" or close button doesn't work on the macro picker window. This is an issue in Word and Excel. In addition, I have two laptops both with the same Office 365 account and the same issue is present on both machines. Any ideas how to fix this? The cancel button works fine.

Can you sort left to right?
To sort left-to-right, use the Sort dialog box. Click Options. Choose "Sort left to right"
If you don't mind me asking, since the Cancel button does exactly the same thing as the "X", can't you just use that?

I like things to work as they should. If I skip this, that will open the door to skip something else. While minor, this stuff piles up, so I tackle issues as they arise. Who knows, I might learn something.

I would make sure that you are up-to-date on all your Office updates.
Its possible you could have some corruption, so might want to try re-installing Office.
