Insert image for posting a new thread

peter, i think i made it happened.
i downloaded the file from here http://www.mrexcel.com/forum/showthread.php?t=399380

and i use the file to open, i can see MrExcelHtlm in Add-Ins tab.
how shall i screen shot it? highlight the range i want to show and click on insert image and Ctrl + v?

It will not work in this particular forum (About This Board). Test in the Test Here forum, with small screen shots.

The basic process is to

- select the area you want to show
- use one of the MrExcel HTML options from the Add-Ins tab (or possibly simpler to right click and use the MrExcel choices from there) to 'Generate Html'
- move to your reply in the forum and 'Paste' (you will see a lot of HTML code not your sheet, but when you submit your post/reply the screen shot should appear.

If you are showing an area that has a lot of repeated forumulas, use one of the options under 'Generate Html (specify option) so that you don't just fill the board up with a whole lot of formulas that are basically the same. Like this, where the formula in B1 is copied down but I have only shown the first one.
