How to delete string from cells if it contains the letter x ?

I have variations of dimensions such as the string above in my cells. Their position is not consistent. The only consistent rule is that the word I want to be rid off in all my cells contains the letter x, but how?
 
Thanks for this; I moved past the issue working through it filtering out cells not containing x; and swapping those ranges to the next column again and again to isolate the dimension variations to make a find and replace macro.

I will definitely make use of this in the future.
