I want a series of cells to hightlight if a certain cell has a certain text. So, if M8 has the word "text" in it, I want B8 to M8 to be highlighted. But i want it to apply to the whole column of M, so if M16 has the same text, B16 to M16 highlight.

Cant figure this one out!

Excel Facts

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
For your conditional formatting highlight all of the cells from B8 to M16, for example, and formula should be =$M8="text"
