I am working on a project where I have to conditionally format a cell so that when a value is for example from cell I13 is "GOOD" the background color should be green; when the value is "fair" the background color should be yellow; and when the value is "poor" the background color should be red. Thank you in advance!!!!!!!!!!

HURRY

Excel Facts

Ambidextrous Undo

click on the cell , click on FORMAT|CONDITIONAL formating, then use Cell-VAlue_is = "" what ever you want ... Patterns, choose color of your choice , then OK!

You're immaturity only proves you're doing schoolwork. Oh, and I'm sure you'll get through school and life just fine, but be sure to keep up that wonderful attitude of yours.

By the way, I hope you don't wait until the last minute anymore because this will be the last time you get help from this board.

That's quite the professional attitude you have there. I'm sure it'll take you far up that corporate ladder.

Do garbagemen have corporate ladders???

Mr B ... slow down please :(

These guys are volunteers who are just trying to follow rule 4 of the board. This rule states: ( and I quote)

"Most people around here have done their share of school (and college) homework, so don't expect that people around here will do it for you."
(see boards rule page ...http://www.mrexcel.com/board2/viewtopic.php?t=49751)

We all want to help people that want ASSITANCE in their project . However we don't generally want to just "do it" for them. We are attempting to to have people learn how excel works instead of just being xls slaves.

The guys that your swearing at are very hard working volunteers on this sight .... please just look at a few of their posts and you will see how hard they work.

Trust me on this ... you swearing is only making yourself look foolish and no-one else. PLEASE calm down and I think you will find the people here quite understanding. Thanks. :)

Oh, my bad........y'all have a good day......you all continue to climb that corporate ladder......even if it leads some of you straight to the local waste management department "like myself." Its ok though, it's people like you that help me climb out of the crap i'm in....sometimes. G'day now.
