Hello,
I have a sheet that refers to another sheet with a formula,

=IF(StartHereSubCom!A8>"",StartHereSubCom!A8,"")

If I delete row 8 on the other sheet it does this.=

IF(StartHereSubCom!#REF!>"",StartHereSubCom!#REF!,"")

How do I make it continue to look at cell A8?

Any help would be appreciated
Mikal

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
Hi,

macattackpro's suggestion would be the easiest way to go, but if you're trying to delete row 8 to evaluate row 9, then 10, 11, etc., you can invoke the Volatile function of INDIRECT and put the text A8 in any unused cell:

Book1
ABCD
1A8s
2
8s
Sheet6
Cell Formulas
RangeFormula
D1=IF(INDIRECT(A1)>"",INDIRECT(A1),"")
