Formula based on Highlighted

I have a number of cell that are highlighted, I want to create a formula, that will produce a number based on if the cell is highlighted in increasing order, See Below:

Are the cells highlighted manually or using Conditional Formatting? Ans if so, which is the formula / condition?

And will they have all the same highlighting, or will there be different colors?
