Hi guys,

I have developed a form with multiple drop down answers (yes, no, n/a) for questions within the form.

The form also has a final formula to provide a text answer based on the options selected.

Is there a way I can retain the functionality of this form in its entirety whilst having it as a PDF document?

Thanks!

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
A PDF file can do this but only if you create it using a PDF creation tool. You can't do it by using Excel to create the formulas then just exporting to PDF.

There might be a way to do it with VBA if you have Adobe Acrobat Pro, because there is a VBA API for that product. But it gets complicated.

Thanks Jeff.

I have Foxit PDF Editor. Hoping this can help get the job done - Not sure if you've ever used it?

I use Fox Reader but not Editor. You might be able to build it from scratch in Fox Editor, but you can't use Excel to create it. I don't have experience creating a PDF that uses formulas so I can't help further.
