Hi guys,

I am trying to compute the total subscription fee BASED ONLY on the time used/consumed while developing the project but also considering the value selected in the drop-down list.

The one in the blue box is a drop-down list and on the right, is it's corresponding rate.

Could someone please share their insights/ideas on what formula I should use here?

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Thank you so much!

i'm not sure i follow

so the price for a daily Subscription is 45.00
and they have used the service for 10 minutes

so what sort of thing did you want to know for the total
maybe explain the example in words - what total you want to see ???

if you subscribe to a product , then its down to the user to make the most of it .......

is this one person or the average for the entire community / subscribers

Well, I get your point. It's just that I think it would be too much for the client's part if I'll charge him/her the daily subscription fee when the design is done for example in 10 minutes considering other factors involved in the development of the project.

I just like to see if it's possible to compute the total subscription fee I can charge a client based only on the time consumed during the development of a design for a product.

the drop-down list consists of monthly and daily subscription fees (the one with the blue box).

if you select DAILY SUB it should be computed like this if the time consumed is just within minutes:

45/24(hours)=1.875 per hour

1.875 per hour/60 minutes= 0.003125 per minute

0.003125 per minute * 10 minutes = 0.3125 subscription charge for the whole 10 minutes

but how about if I select MONTHLY SUB and the consumed time is 1 hour 30 minutes?

I included a category in between the drop-down list and the corresponding fee depending on the selected item on the list.

I figure it out! :)

By the way, is there any way I can delete this thread?
