excel custom data valadation with countifs

Hi there

I posted a thread earlier it looks lik it was wrorking but it now appears not working.

Can you use countifs in custom data valadation my formula that i want to use is =COUNTIFS($B$4:$B$50000,"="&B4,$AO$4:$AO$50000,"="&AO4)=1 Can any body help me?

I did the test as suggested and no text 'values'. I just changed the range to start from the blank rows as it must only applicable from now and it worked. I found a way to work around the error currently experiencing by deleting everything from the bottom to the cell just under the last cell with data in column B and it does the trick. Did not have any comebacks again. Thanks anyway if i have a come back again i will try your suggestion above.

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
