I'm having trouble with a counting formula. We have a table setup that logs bids on jobs.
Column A is a job number,
Column B is Job Name
Column C is Status of Bid (Data Validation with either: Quote, Job, Change Order, Complete, Lost)
Column D is Date of Bid
Column E is Contract Value

I want to setup a summary page that provides some statistics of the data. I'd like a counting function to count the number of bids in the last 7 days that have been made no matter what status.

I also would like a count function that counts the number of bids in the last 7 days that are a change order.

I also would like to sum the contract value of all jobs no matter the status in the last 7 days.

Lastly I'd like to sum the contract value of only change orders from the last 7 days.

Please help. I felt like these were simple functions but I am having trouble getting the expected result.

Excel Facts

When they said...
When they said you are going to "Excel at life", they meant you "will be doing Excel your whole life".
Sounds like you need to use the COUNTIFS() function for this
=countifs(C:C,"<="&today(),C:C,">="&today()-7)

Once you have that down, you can add/change/remove criteria as needed
