COUNTIF and Ignore Blank Cells

Im trying to write this formula below to also ignore blank cells. Any help would be appreciated.

=IF(COUNTIF(F$14:F$23;I14);COUNTIF(F$14:F$23;I14);"")
 

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
I have an additional question. Is it possible to add an additional argument to the formula causing the total count of the QTY field to decrease by one for each Device that has the status of Rejected?

Current formula below:

=IF(LEN(I14)*COUNTIF(F$14:F$23;I14);COUNTIF(F$14:F$23;I14);"")
