Hi I have a workbook which has 6 worksheets, on 1 particular worksheet "NEW PLAN" jobs are moved around by the operators and these cells contain formating and conditional formatting..

What I am after for this worksheet ONLY by VBA code to let the operators copy but restrict to paste value ONLY (just for this worksheet).

As at the moment the operators are copying and hitting enter which pastes everything and changes all the formats and conditional formatting.

Thanks

Excel Can Read to You
Customize Quick Access Toolbar. From All Commands, add Speak Cells or Speak Cells on Enter to QAT. Select cells. Press Speak Cells.
I deal with this all the time; annoying huh?

Things I have tried:
- Add a button that pastes the copied cells as text and provide instructions to the users (you can show them how, but will they do it?)
- Add a series of buttons to move rows of records up or down, delete rows, and add rows (elaborate control. It works great, but changing the form requires changing the macro)
- Make an Event macro that detects when cells change. The macro then re-formats the cells (the most effective method)
- Block pasting all together (complaints, complaints, complaints)

I got my first job in the US Air Force cleaning up peoples messes while working on spreadsheets.
I liked this job and there is always something to clean up. Deleting formulas was a recurring thing.
Using Lotus 123 at the time.
Best thing to do is always keep backups and keep the backups hidden or offsite.
