<hr style="color:#ebebeb; background-color:#ebebeb" size="1"> Hello Everybody,
could you help me to configure this userform for Excel2003, please?

I want to use this userform but I don't know VBA.
Download here!

Thank you very much.

I've tried to get help at an other forum but there couldn't be helped to me.

I would be very happy if you would paste your code at the same file or an other excel 2003 file.

Hello Norie,
thank you very much for your interest. I'm very lucky to see your engagement.

What I want to do is do enter the data like the data with this userform in this excel file.
Should the code tidy up? Should the Userform be changed?

I don't know how to change the userform if you think you can tidy up I would be happy if you would do it.

I'm not sure what should be changed to be able to use this file.

Sorry, it is not an Optionbox, it is for Combobox to select the postal code. I will enter manual the postal codes and the cities in the excel file in another spreadsheet and want to select the postal code and the city from the userform.

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
So you want a userform for entering data into the worksheet Telefon?

Is the current userform the one that's been used with that worksheet?

Or are the two, worksheet and userform, not really connected.

Sorry, I don't understand.

Has this userform worked with this worksheet previously?

If it has then it should still work unless there's been changes somewhere.

Perhaps some columns have been added/moved etc?

Anyway, I took a closer look at kind of started something from 'scratch'.

I renamed all the textboxes and comboboxes to something relevant.

eg txtNachname for textbox for the Nachname field/column, cboLPZ for the combobox of postal codes.

I also redid the code to populate the listbox and to populate the rest of the form when something was selected in it.

I renamed the command buttons as well.

I can post all the code but it might be easier if I upload the file and post a link.

Can't do that right now though.:)

Here's the file:

[deleted 2011-10-04 - broken link]

Like I said the only part I've done so far is the population of the textboxes based on a selection in the listbox.

I've changed some of the code and some of the original code won't work anymore, eg date validation.

Hello Norie,
thank you very much for your work on my project.

You said that you have only done the part with the textboxes and the listbox.

There are some little things which are not working or not working correctly:

If I klick someone of the Listbox the PLZ shows the Ort and Ort shows the PLZ.

If I klick the New, Change or Delete Button I get failure "error when compiling", "variable not defined".

With search happens nothing.

Do you think it is possible for you to adjust this for me?

The Ort/PLZ thing shouldn't be a problem, just need to move things around a bit.

I didn't do anything for the New/Change/Delete because I wasn't 100% sure what the existing code was doing/meant to do exactly.

That should be able to be fixed but to be honest I'd probably do it differently than the original code.

That wouldn't mean the results would be different, just the code.
