Conditional Formatting Colour Scales Based on Divergence from Another Cell

Hello

I have a series of "standard" values in row 1. In rows 2-10 I have some test results which may be higher or lower than the standards. I would like to use conditional formatting to generate a colour scale based on how much the values in rows 2-10 diverge from the standard values.

Is this possible? I just can't seem to find any guidance on how to do this.

Excel Facts

Enter current date or time
Ctrl+: enters current time. Ctrl+; enters current date. Use Ctrl+: Ctrl+; Enter for current date & time.
I have never done anything like that, but perhaps this old thread will help:
