Hi
I'm having a brain freeze...if I even have a brain
AY4:AY415 has dates in them from 1/1/2024 to 12/31/2024
Some of AZ4:AZ415 have text in them
I'm trying to have conditional format change the font to red in AZ4:AZ415 if the same line cell is today's date
It doesn't matter if there isn't any text in some AZ because nothing will happen
I highlighted all of AZ4:AZ415 ...I tried
Excel Formula:
=(AY4=today())
and it doesn't work
I also tried
Excel Formula:
=($AY$4=today())

Example: if the date in AY4 = today() ..i want the AZ4 font to be red...if it's not today, I want it default (black)

Cells with Conditional Formatting
CellConditionCell FormatStop If True
AZ4:AZ42Expression=$AY4=TODAY()textNO

This works for me
Excel Formula:
=$AY4=TODAY()
but I tested both of your conditional formatting rules and they also did their job.

Maybe your cells aren't formatted as Dates.
Can you check that?
