I have 2 procedures.
  1. One of them, applies an autofilter, asks a question for each row in a range, is this the correct row, then has it apply prices to the row.
  2. The other applies an autofilter, then applies code to each row that matches the autofilter.
I have just found out that I need to have the ability of sub 1 above in sub 2. By that, I mean I need the same ability in sub 2 to ask for each row, is this the correct row, and if press yes, copy to the cancellations sheet.

Can someone please help me with this as I am not sure which parts I need to copy from sub 1 to sub 2?

This is sub 1
VBA Code:
        Dim ws As Worksheet, sh As Worksheet, sht As Worksheet, QT As String, wb2 As Workbook, WbPath As String, QTPath As String
        Dim Serv As String, Month As String, Service As String, LCPrice As String, AutoFilterCounter As Long
        Set wb2 = ThisWorkbook
        'QT = "CSS_quoting_tool_29.5.xlsm"
        Set sh = wb2.Worksheets("Totals")

        'values on totals sheet that the user is looking for
        Dim LCReq As String: LCReq = sh.Cells(32, 2).Value
        'Dim LCDt As String: LCDt = sh.Cells(37, 2).Value
        Dim LCDt As String: LCDt = CDate(sh.Cells(37, 2).Value)

Convert text numbers to real numbers
Select a column containing text numbers. Press Alt+D E F to quickly convert text to numbers. Faster than "Convert to Number"
I have looked at it further all I need is if there is no job in any monthly sheet that has the filter of the date and request number as defined by Dt and Req, I need to let the user know with a message box and exit the sub. At the moment, the sub is exited in that case with no indication that anything has happened.

My code has changed a little I think.

Currently,
  • when LateCancel is run, the code will cycle through the monthly sheet where the filtered result is and allow you to select which quote to apply the pricing too.
  • When the Transfer sub is run, it acts in a similar manner but it moves all the rows that match the date and request number to the cancellations sheet. Transfer is run to cancel a job.

What I need help with
  • Could someone help me please with getting the feature of being able to select which job to apply the code to, as in the LateCancel procedure, into the Transfer sub as I need to be able to cancel one job at a time, not everything at once.
  • I do not want to cancel every job with the same date and request number when I run the Transfer sub as is what currently happens.

I tried to do this myself but seeing as though there is so much code in the LateCancel sub, I didn't know what I needed to copy into the Transfer sub.

This is my transfer sub
VBA Code:
Sub Transfer()
