What I'm trying to do is convert sum of minutes and if over 59 into hours and if over 7 hours into a day. For example
<colgroup><col span="3"></colgroup><tbody>

<tbody>
A

B

C

D

Days

Hours

Minutes

3

5

40

6

2

30

Total

9

8

70

Desired

10

7

10

</tbody>

So, if(sum(D3,D4)>59,Mod(sum(D2,D3),60),sum(D3,D4))

And if(D4 > 59, (sum(C2,C3) + 1),
sum(C2,C3))
<strike></strike>

And if(C4 > 7,
(sum(B2,B3) + 1), sum(B2,B3))

</tbody>
You're correct...I mistakenly placed the 6 in hours instead of days. If you can could you create the subtraction formula?

Excel Facts

How to calculate loan payments in Excel?
Use the PMT function: =PMT(5%/12,60,-25000) is for a $25,000 loan, 5% annual interest, 60 month loan.
OK, try:

Columns A:D are how to add the values based on a 7-hour per day system, F:I is how to subtract. The B5:D5 formulas are for when you want to add more than 2 sets of numbers (just change the ranges). But if you are only adding 2 sets of numbers, the A6:D6 formulas are a bit shorter.
