I so dislike charts. I don't have the original workbook, but I had to recreate this chart with different data. I've done everything but create a y-axis that repeats the numbers as demonstrated:

Here's my new chart:

Does this have to do with the major and minor bounds? Please help. Thanks in advance.

It seems that the original graph has the following axis values: MIN = 48.5, MAX = 52.5, main unit = 0.5 and the numbers are rounded up (i.e. with no decimals). So, in your case it would be something like 36.0 - 40.5 - 0.5.

Thanks, hagia_sofia. I'm really bad with charts. What is the "main unit"? I don't see that on the Axis options. Here are my settings now:

I'm okay with the MIN and MAX. But how do I repeat the numbers on the axis? See how it says $49 - $49 - $50 - $50, etc.? That is what I'm trying to recreate.

Everything is in the picture above, i.e. Minimum (originally 48.5) - Maximum (52.5), and Major (0.5). As for "number repetitions" - cf. Number - set category to "Currency", and then decimals to 0.

Sure, it's millions formatted as two digits:
FY22
$40,135,105
FY23
$36,730,045
FY24 Estimate
$37,835,145

So I guess your MIN - MAX - MAJOR should be 36,000,000 - 40,500,000 - 500,000.

I give up. It's almost 2 am. They're going to have to live with it the way it is.
