XL2BB Icons greyed out

I just encountered the problem of the file not being trusted. Navigate to the directory where you stored it, right-click it, choose Properties and by the bottom of the dialog box there should be a checkbox to unblock it. Check it, press Apply, exit Excel and open it again.

So, do you have XL2BB working now?

You can also put the file in a trusted location (folder) on your computer

If you didn't know there is also a Test forum (btw I'd recommend using the Mini sheet option in XL2BB for 99% of posts as it gives the column headers and row numbers)
