Workbooks in manual calculation

Morning,

I've recently noticed that if I open a new workbook they now all open with manual calculation. This happens even if no other workbook is already open, so it is not being caused by an original manually calculating workbook, i am presuming this is the default template ....any ideas on how to sort this ?

Thanks
Paul

Last used cell?
Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
What files do you have loaded at startup - any add-ins or personal macro workbook? It will most likely be one of those or a book.xltx file in the XLSTART folder.
