Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
any ideas on what is happening in A4?
Without seeing your data. No.

In future please select to show formulas when you create a minisheet, it's a lot easier to see that way.

I have the "cell formula" option checked off - it's not giving me the formulas in the output

There should be a tick in that box.
Can you post the data from the other 3 sheets.

Thanks for that.
Your getting FALSE in the VSTACK because that's what you've got in the Material sheet.

yes sory, I should have qualified that really I am trying to get the "FALSE" in the material sheet to disappear. What is my formula doing that is retruning this value?

Because you have told the filter function to return false if nothing matches the criteria.

That's right, but you will get a blank row.
