Below is a diagram of sheet 1 ( reference sheet) and sheet 2, I would like to have info on sheet 2 to only show if column H from sheet 1 is AA, not sure is a vlookup or if/or formula is best, any help much appreciated
Sheet 1
. A B C E F G H
1 BL CD RF WW ZZ AA
3 QI PP LY MN FG DD CE
4 SD JH II YR ES VO AA

Sheet 2
. A B C E F G H
1 BL CD RF WW ZZ AA
3
4 SD JH II YR ES VO AA

Sheet 2: If H1 =AA, then, A1 =BL, B1=CD, C1=RF, E1=WW, F1 shows nothing, G1=ZZ
<strike></strike>

Excel Facts

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
Hi,

If F1 shows nothing, why is there a value (ES) in Row 4 in Sheet 2?

Ok, it's unclear what values are in which column, may be this.

Change Sheet154 in my formula to match your Sheet 2 name, formula in A1 copied down and across to Column H:

Book1
ABCDEFGH
1BLCDRFWWZZJKAA
2QIPPLYMNFGDDJJCE
3SDJHIIYRESVOLJAA
Sheet154

Book1
ABCDEFGH
1BLCDRFWWZZJKAA
2
3SDJHIIYRESVOLJAA
Sheet164
Cell Formulas
RangeFormula
A1=IF(AND(Sheet154!$H1="AA",Sheet154!A1<>""),Sheet154!A1,"")

I have copied the formula and pasted it into the cells, all it shows me is the formula, it dies not actually perform the formula

Sounds like your formula cell is formatted as Text.

Select formula cell, right click, format cells, select General, OK.

Re-enter the formula.

Also check to make sure you have "Calculations" on automatic.

EDIT: just saw your last post, glad you got it working, I believe the ; as opposed to , is due to regional settings rather than Office 365...
