Hi Folks,

I am using a simple VLOOKUP for retrieving a value in another sheet in the same workbook but just keep getting #REF ! error. Think that I overlooked something.

The formula is =VLOOKUP(F3,'Precios '!$A$3:$A$83,2,FALSE)

And what I am trying to do with this is to search for value situated in the F3 cell in the current value, checking that it exists in the Precios sheet and finally retrieving the value in the column next to it.

Ranges are ok and values that I am looking did exist, in fact.

Any help would be much appreciated. Hope I described the situation thoroughly.

Thanks

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
Try
=VLOOKUP(F3,'Precios '!$A$3:$B$83,2,FALSE)
Also does the Precios sheet have a space after it's name?

Thanks Fluff!

Surprisingly for me, changing the value of the search field to the B in red you suggested fix the error. Nevertheless, it's weird since the value was in the A column which was initially included in my formula.
It's a MS Excel bug?

Thanks!

No it's not a "bug", you selected one column only in the lookup range, but told it to return a value from second column.
