Hello,

I am trying to perform a VLOOKUP. It is successfully pulling most of the information, but sometimes it just skips over a value without pulling the number from the data array. I have tried messing with the formatting of the cell and checked for leading and trailing spaces. Any idea why it is missing these numbers?

thank you

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
If they are numbers it is missing it is important to know that there is a difference between an actual number and a textual number. You can test the cell using =ISNUMBER(A1) for example.

The data is in a pivot table. Should copy and paste values to get it out of the pivot table? and I do have absolute references covering the array
