I have a VLOOKUP as follows:

=IF(ISNA(VLOOKUP(A3,'[MonsterOnline_Impressions_Julye06.xls]Monster, July 2006 (2)'!$D:$H,5,0)),0,(VLOOKUP(A3,'[MonsterOnline_Impressions_Julye06.xls]Monster, July 2006 (2)'!$D:$H,5,0)))

I would like to highlight the target cell in '[MonsterOnline_Impressions_Julye06.xls]Monster, July 2006 (2)'! that is being picked up by the VLOOKUP, any color is okay

I would appreciate any help!

Thx

Sean

thanks Jon,

the only thing I noticed is that the orignal values in column H of July06 (2) ws are now changed because of the matching C/F. These are outside source values that I don't want to adjust! If I just acknowledge what stations are not included from wb[2} to wb[1] I could just have the station highlighted as you did, but the values change formats.

If I did a VL back from wb[2] to original source wb[1] and IFNA "False" in an empty column could I C/F based on whether the column="False"

LOL... My ws had been vision control adjusted with a new add on so it seemed as though the number values in column H were formated differently/ this is not the case, hence more confussion!

Sorry about that!

Everything is good C/F works good! I'm just wondering if I did a VLOOKUP back from wb[2] JULY06 to original source wb[1]Nation Rev.. and IF(ISNA)enter "False"/ or '0' in an empty column could I C/F based on whether the column="False"/ or '0'

A C/F that looks something like Cell Value Is "False" or '0', this would save the extra ws Admin... what do you think?

Thnx again

Don't think that's going to be of savings, but you can try it and see if the wb is quicker for you.

I tried to do a C/F in column O were the second V/L is

Cell Value Is FALSE and nothing happens... Do I have to refer to the cell value as numerical value ? I have read the help tips and they are not very precise with certain needs...

Well, now I *am* lost again!

I think, at this point, I should look at the files at hand, as I don't have a good grasp of the current alternative...
