Once you create a macro in access in the desgin view. How do you view the code behind it. I tried to open up vb editor but can see find the code for the macro which is in that project.

Help..

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
A macro does not have code as such.

You can convert it to code though, but it depends on which version of Access you have.

Access 2000. Can you view the code for the macro. I just want to see the syntax for the "TransferSpreadsheet" action in the macro.

The reason is I just want to make the filename agrument to be dynamice instead of static where the user will have the option to select the file they are importing into a access table.
