Hello All,

Good day !!!!

I have excel in the below format.

I need sum of value based on name and status.


And also i need Descrption also.



It is possible in VBA.

Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
Hi MR. Peter_SSs How can i get desc in Pivot?

Name & Desc in the "Row" part of the pivot table layout. Status in the Column part and Spend in the data part (choose Sum of spend).

As stated by Sandeep, you have to drag/drop both 'Name' and 'Desc' from the Pivot Table Field List to the Row Fields area of the Pivot Table.

Do you have headings in each column of your data?
