Hi All,

I need to carry out 6 weekly and 10 weekly inspections on our units and trailers. How do I set up the sheets so that:-
1) It automatically records the next date of Inspection and respective dates for the next 6 months so that I have a list of due and completed inspections.
2) On the 2nd page/sheet, I want to have the the identical list of trailers, but instead of showing the inspections as being due in either 6 weeks or 10 weeks, I want to be able to see what vehicle and/or trailer is currently (within the next 7 days) due inspection

Thank you

David

David,

What are the 4 different columns of inspection dates?

Jeff

They are the dates that the trailers are due inspection. DVSA like to see weeks in advance (Usually 6 months), so the inspections are set to roll forward either 6 weekly or 10 weekly and amend if the actual inspection date is different to the one shown. I have only shown 4 weeks ahead, but would actually show as far as a year ahead.
With having so many dates floating around, it complicates the issue, which is why I want to be able to highlight the next due inspection date.

regards,

David

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
Ok, so we could name those appropriate to the inspection period? Does the whole trailer get inspected every time? You mentioned break inspections as if it were separate. Would we name those 4 week Full Insp, 6 Week Full Insp, 10 Week Full Insp, 20 week Break Insp; or something like that?
