Hi

I've recently upgraded to Excel 2016. A webscraping programe written with 2007 stops working (not responding) with Excel 2016

It'll start to loop through a list of websites but just stops responding after 3 or 4. I've tried exporting the mod, saving as a non-macro workbook and importing the mod again, still no luck. As mentioned, work perfect with 2007.

I'm using the send/get method.

Any ideas?
Thanks,Nigel

How can you turn a range sideways?
Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.
If you post your code, someone may be able to take a look at it and see if anything sticks out.

Thanks for replying Joe.

Looking into this further it seems like it is responding but appears not to be.

It can visit over 100 pages and takes about 10 mins to run. After a short while I get the white blank screen with the "Not Responding" message top left
(even though it's still running).

Anyone using it will naturally think it's crashed (as I did).
I used screenupdating=false but that doesn't help. Can this be stopped?

Once again, without seeing your code, it is difficult to say if there are code issues or things that can be changed to make it more efficient.
