VBA to insert row / colum

Hi guy,

can't believe its been a year since i last posted on here.... :bow:

i have been asked to write 4 seperate VBA modules;

1. insert a row above the cell selected
2. insert a row below the cell selected
3. insert a colum to the left of the cell selected
4. insert a colum to the right of the cell selected


any help is grrr8

All yield the same result as xlDown or no argument at all would yield. And, since none raises an error, it looks like the argument is simply ignored in this context.
That is interesting. So if you meant to specify EntireColumn but accidentally or unthinkingly typed EntireRow but correctly specified xlToRight for shift direction (given you were thinking EntireColumn), VB would happily screw up your data rather than alerting you to the mismatch so you could correct it. That doesn't seem all that programmer friendly to me.
