VBA SelectedSheets not working properly

Hello,
Why is it that this function always return 1 when used as a Excel function ?
VBA Code:
Function NbFeuillesActives()
  NbFeuillesActives = ActiveWindow.SelectedSheets.Count
End Function

Have you put the code in a regular module (it should be or you would get a #MAME error but just checking)?

Excel Facts

Last used cell?
Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
Afraid I am out of ideas and I can't see anything that I could imagine would cause a locale issue.
If I think of anything else I'll post back

- the function works with Excel 2010
- I am using excel 365 insider channel beta
