Hello everyone,

I have a question with regard to programming an installation routine for my macros/addin. I would like to add a button to my XLSM workbook (which contains several macros) with the following function:

(1) on clicking the button, the XLSM workbook should be automatically saved as an Excel-Addin to the correct Microsoft Addin folder, installed in Excel and activated. Could you help me out with this routine?

(2) Furthermore, it would be great if the following reoutine could be added: all the addins are called "help_tool" and then the date, e.g. "help_tool_august2017". So I have a lot of "old" addins still activated or installed in the Microsoft Addin folder. I would like all "old" addins with the name starting "help_tool" to be deactivated/deinstalled first and deleted from the folder before the "new" addin is installed.

Thank you very much in advance!

Regards

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
