Hey all,

I have this add-in with a macro in it.

Now, if I add a Form Control Button to my worksheet and I want to assign a macro, i don't see the list of macro's, which is not a big deal since I can just type in the name of the macro in my addin. And it will work just fine.

However, when I do that, a workbook connection is automatically created to my addin file.

Is there a way to assign macro to a Form Control Button in an Excel worksheet without creating a workbook link to the excel addin?

Hope someone has a solution for it so i can prevent that workbook connection bar at the top of my excel document.

Best regards,
Bas

No. The button will always cause a connection (otherwise Excel will not be able to figure out what macro to call).
