vba and MySql

Hello,

is it possible to query (select) a mySql database (WordPress) with VBA ? and if so, how ? do I need to install some driver or somthing else ?

The only thing that changed from any other connection is the connection string once you have the connector installed. You’ve use ADO in VBA before right?

As an aside, power query may actually be easier than VBA due the abominable ways Wordpress stores data!

Yes I have used ADO on Access.

is this connection string ok ? because i get an error - that Data source name not found and no default driver specified.
