Hello All-

I have a dataset that I need to utilize the transpose function.

Dataset I currently have:

Mary Smith Region 1 Dr. A
Mary Smith Region 1 Dr. B
Mary Smith Region 1 Dr. C
Mary Smith Region 2 Dr. E

Below is what I need the data to be:

Mary Smith Region 1 Dr. A Dr. B Dr. C
Mary Smith Region 2 Dr. E

Is there a way I can utilize the transpose function for this type of need? I have 225 unique individuals in my data set and the only way I know how to do this is to select the individuals that have multiple doctors in a region and perform copy, paste special, transpose.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciate.

Thank you very much.

Excel Facts

How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest
How is this line parsed, is it all in one cell or is it more than one cell. If it's more than one please show what parts is are in the different cells...

Sorry, I do not know how to insert the table so the columns can be clearly parsed out.

Is there a way to insert a table or picture of the data?

Thank you.

For what little data you have there, the easiest thing would probably be to use the "Go Advanced" button on the bottom right of the reply box and create a small table...
