Using LastRow and Borders

First off, thanks for the help.

I am using LastRow to find the last row of data in my spreadsheet. The last row in my spreadsheet varies daily.

Dim LastRow As Long
Range("A1").Select
LastRow = Cells.Find("*", SearchOrder:=xlByRows, SearchDirection:=xlPrevious).Row

Then I am trying use the thin border on the bottom of the cells.
Range("A3").Select
Range("A3:AF" & LastRow).Select
Selection.Borders(xlDiagonalDown).LineStyle = xlNone
Selection.Borders(xlDiagonalUp).LineStyle = xlNone
Selection.Borders(xlEdgeLeft).LineStyle = xlNone
Selection.Borders(xlEdgeTop).LineStyle = xlNone
With Selection.Borders(xlEdgeBottom)
.LineStyle = xlContinuous
.ColorIndex = xlAutomatic
.TintAndShade = 0
.Weight = xlThin
End With
Selection.Borders(xlEdgeRight).LineStyle = xlNone
Selection.Borders(xlInsideVertical).LineStyle = xlNone
With Selection.Borders(xlInsideHorizontal)
.LineStyle = xlContinuous

However, the last row is not getting a border. Can someone help?

I bet I know the problem. I add a header column after I determine my last row. So I change the last row after I have set the parameters of the last row. DUH!

Is there a way during VBA to reset the lastrow value?

That'll do it Happy you worked it out as thought I was going mad.

Btw you don't need/want the selects, you probably only need...

    Dim LastRow As Long
    LastRow = Cells.Find("*", SearchOrder:=xlByRows, SearchDirection:=xlPrevious).Row + 1

    With Range("A3:AF" & LastRow)
        .Borders(xlDiagonalDown).LineStyle = xlNone
        .Borders(xlDiagonalUp).LineStyle = xlNone

Actually you can probably get away with

        .BorderAround LineStyle:=xlContinuous
        .BorderAround Weight:=xlThin
        .Borders(xlInsideHorizontal).LineStyle = xlContinuous
        .Borders(xlInsideHorizontal).Weight = xlThin
        .Borders(xlEdgeLeft).LineStyle = xlNone
        .Borders(xlEdgeRight).LineStyle = xlNone
    End With

and even possibly just...

    LastRow = Cells.Find("*", SearchOrder:=xlByRows, SearchDirection:=xlPrevious).Row + 1

Don't know what you mean by the above, if you are inserting the header manually then do it before you run the code. If you are doing it by code then add the insert Header code before the LastRow line.
